Components updated in Dr.Web 11.0 products for Windows

February 16, 2016

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the firewall (11.0.3.12081), Dr.Web Control Service (11.0.5.02091), and the SpIDer Guard file monitor (11.00.00.12230) in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.0. The Control Service and the file monitor have also been updated in Dr.Web 11.0 for Windows Servers. The update resolves known software issues.

Specifically, it eliminates a firewall issue involving a registry file being in use when the user logs out, causing a corresponding entry to appear in the Event Log.

Also resolved was a Control Service issue resulting in the component’s abnormal termination if the data loss prevention feature had been enabled.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
