Dr.Web AV-Desk deployed by MajaNet in Estonia

July 11, 2008

Subscribers of MajaNet in three cities of Estonia – Tallinn, Keila and Orgita – can now use the Dr.Web anti-virus service. The service is delivered to subscribers by means of Dr.Web AV-Desk deployed on servers of the provider company. Dr.Web AV-Desk is an innovative Internet-service created by Doctor Web, Ltd. This is the first experience of a successful deployment in Estonia.

State-of-the-art technologies and hardware bring reliable high-speed Internet connection to subscribers of MajaNet via a dedicated digital channel. It is very cheap to subscribe, the fee is low and the traffic is unlimited. Introduction of the Dr.Web anti-virus service also makes it secure and malware-free.

The plain philosophy of Dr.Web AV-Desk is easily understood by any provider retaining an image of a reliable supplier of services. The system administrator of MajaNet Artem Bagenov comments on the deployment of the service:
“One of our primary objectives is making the Internet easily accessible. That’s why we try to do our best so our users wouldn’t worry if their Internet connection is stable and safe. Everyone knows that there is no such a thing as a perfect anti-virus. However, it doesn’t mean that one should not strive for perfection. Huge development teams of security software companies release new and updated anti-virus applications virtually on the daily basis. An ordinary user will have hard time learning pros and cons of these programs that’s why we chose a comprehensive protection by Dr.Web”.

Subscribers of MajaNet will be able to use the service free of charge till September 1. When the testing period is over, the monthly fee of EUR 2 will be introduced.

About MajaNet
