Components in Dr.Web 11.1 products for Unix-like systems and Scanning Server Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 13.0 updated

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated numerous components in Dr.Web 11.1 products for Unix-like systems as well as the Scanning Server in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 13.0.The update resolves known issues and delivers minor upgrades.

Changes affecting Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Server, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Internet gateways Unix, and the Scanning Server in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 13.0:

  • An installation problem affecting drweb-configd (11.1.15-2110182032) in Elbrus 8.32 systems has been resolved. Furthermore, section names in the respective configuration file are no longer case sensitive.
  • An issue preventing drweb-esagent (11.1.13-2111011737) in Elbrus 8.32 systems from connecting to the Dr.Web server has been resolved.
  • A drweb-filecheck (11.1.9-2110182032) error occurring when a threat was being moved to the quarantine in Elbrus 8.32 systems has been fixed.
  • Minor adjustments have been made in drweb-boost (11.1.3-2110181628), drweb-ctl (11.1.11-2110182032), drweb-icu (11.1.3-2110181616), drweb-icu-data (11.1.3-2110181616), drweb-libzypp (11.1.3-2110131846), drweb-meshd (11.1.5-2110182032), drweb-mimetic (11.1.4-2110052021), drweb-se (11.1.8-2110182032), drweb-statd (11.1.6-2110182032), drweb-update (11.1.7-2110182032) and drweb-zypper (11.1.4-2110140951).

Changes affecting Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Server and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Internet gateways Unix:

  • A defect causing an empty directory to remain in the product’s installation directory after the application was removed has been addressed in drweb-libs (11.1.6-2109201646) and drweb-libs32 (11.1.6-2109201646).
  • Minor adjustments have been made in drweb-netcheck (11.1.6-2110182032) and drweb-cloudd (11.1.6-2110182032).

Changes affecting Dr.Web 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers, Dr.Web 11.1 for Linux, and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Internet gateways Unix:

  • A problem causing drweb-gated (11.1.8-2110281356) to terminate abnormally when invalid packets were being processed has been resolved. In addition, adjustments have been made to FTP inspection routines.

Changes affecting Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux:

  • Adjustments have been made to drweb-session (11.1.9-2110182032) so that relevant information is displayed in the drweb-configure command output.
  • Minor tweaks have been made to drweb-qt (11.1.5-2110182032), drweb-gui (11.1.10-2110182032) and drweb-uninst (11.1.4-2109201614).

Other minor adjustments and tweaks have also been introduced in the following modules:

  • drweb-antispam (11.1.7-2110182032), drweb-gmime (11.1.2-2109102049) and drweb-maild (11.1.13-2110182032) in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Internet gateways Unix;
  • drweb-clamd (11.1.3-2110182032), drweb-httpd (11.1.8-2111151401), drweb-httpd-bin (11.1.8-2111151401), drweb-httpd-webconsole (11.1.6-2110182032), drweb-snmpd (11.1.5-2110182032) in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Server and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Internet gateways Unix;
  • drweb-configure (11.1.3-2109161801), drweb-libxml2 (11.1.2-2110131846), drweb-spider (11.1.3-2110182032) in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Server;
  • drweb-firewall (11.1.6-2110182032) in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Internet gateways Unix;
  • drweb-icapd (11.1.8-2110281357) in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Internet gateways Unix;
  • drweb-lookupd (11.1.4-2110182032) in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Internet gateways Unix;
  • drweb-nss (11.1.3-2110182032), drweb-smbspider-daemon (11.1.3-2110182032) in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Server;
  • drweb-smbspider (11.1.6-2109052330) and drweb-smbspider-modules (11.1.6-2109052330) for Elbrus, drweb-smbspider (11.1.6-2109222250) and drweb-smbspider-modules (11.1.6-2109222250) for other platforms in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Server;
  • drweb-urlcheck (11.1.2-2110182032) in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers, Dr.Web Anti-virus for Internet gateways Unix as well as the Scanning Server in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 13.0.

The update is performed via the Dr.Web repository. Also note that Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite’s Scanning Server can be updated using the standard .run file updating routine of Dr.Web applications for Unix-like systems.
