Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web Updater (12.0.30.12240) module and Dr.Web Scanning Engine (12.6.2.202011180) in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0 for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0. Furthermore, Dr.Web for Outlook Plugin (12.0.8.10130) has been updated in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 12.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0, and Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK (12.0.13.10230) has been made current in Dr.Web 12.0 for Windows and Dr.Web AV-Desk 13.0. The update resolves a known software issue.
Changes made to Dr.Web for Outlook Plugin:
A defect causing email attachments to be deleted if an error occurred while they were being moved to the quarantine has been eliminated.
Changes made to Dr.Web Updater:
Now the GET method is used to update Dr.Web over a proxy server (HTTP) instead of CONNECT. This will help in situations when the CONNECT method is not allowed on a server.
The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
