Adware trojan activity decreases, numerous threats on Google Play and other events in Doctor Web’s June 2022 mobile malware activity review

Doctor Web is pleased to present its June 2022 mobile malware activity review. According to detection statistics collected by Dr.Web for Android products, the activity of Android.Spy.4498, designed to hijack information from other apps’ notifications, continues to decrease. Compared to May, we also observed less activity from members of the Android.HiddenAds adware trojan family. At the same time, our malware analysts discovered a large number of threats on Google Play.
