First trojans in the AppGallery catalog, a malicious version of the APKPure app and other events in Doctor Web's April 2021 mobile malware activity review

May 13, 2021

Doctor Web presents its April 2021 mobile malware activity overview. Last month, Doctor Web’s specialists discovered a trojan built into one of the versions of the APKPure app—a client software for the popular eponymous third-party app catalog for the Android OS. Malware analysts have also uncovered the first trojans in the AppGallery app store, as well as new threats on the official Android app catalog Google Play. Read more about these and other events in our February review.
