An upturn of malicious activity in email traffic and other events of November 2020

Doctor Web presents its November 2020 overview of malware activity. In November, the number of detected threats remained steady at October levels. According to statistics, adware and trojan installers remained among the most common threats. Email traffic was dominated by various malware that included a backdoor written in .NET, a multi-module banking trojan and programs, exploiting Microsoft Office vulnerabilities. The number of user requests to decrypt files affected by encoders decreased slightly. Read more about these and other events in our November review.
