Changes affecting modules in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Server, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Internet gateways Unix
drweb-icu and drweb-icu-data:
- The applications' security has been improved.
drweb-configd:
- A SpIDer Gate issue involving ALD functionality on PCs running Astra Linux has been resolved.
drweb-ctl:
- The applications' security has been improved;
- The application logs now provide more detailed information.
drweb-esagent:
- A configuration data-parsing issue involving files received from version 11 of the ES server software has been resolved.
Changes affecting modules in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers
The new module drweb-urlcheck now facilitates access to dws-databases for other software components whenever a URL needs to be examined, which decreases Dr.Web's memory footprint. For now, the component is only compatible with drweb-maild. Similar functionality will be implemented soon for other modules.
drweb-gated:
- An email-processing issue involving messages whose size exceeded 64 MB has been eliminated.
drweb-maild:
- The component can now use drweb-urlcheck;
- The Authentication-results header can now be added to messages;
- The X-AntiVirus message header now contains more information;
- An invalid message defect causing the [string "coroutine.make"]:22 error has been corrected: scan_report;
- An issue preventing custom headers from being added to large messages has been resolved.
Changes affecting the drweb-configure module in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux and Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Server:
- The utility's routines have been upgraded.
Changes made to the drweb-gui module in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux:
- The module now uses Qt 5.12.
Changes made to the drweb-smbspider module in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Server:
- Samba 4.11 and 4.12 are now supported.
The update is performed via the Dr.Web repository. If you encounter any problems when updating, please use the instructions from our previous news post to specify the additional repository for the Dr.Web software you use.
