Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the drweb-maild (11.1.7-2004011721) and drweb-cgp-plugin (11.1.1-2004031042) modules in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Linux and in Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.1 for Unix Mail Servers. Furthermore, this release also adds the new component drweb-gmime (11.1.0-2001231247) to these applications. The update delivers new features and resolves known issues.

The new module drweb-gmime reduces the applications' memory footprint when mail messages are being processed. Other changes introduced by the update:

• The maximum message header length for conversion is now unlimited;
• Message processing routines using the load_array function have been optimised;
• An issue that could cause the module to terminate abnormally if rspamd was also being used has been eliminated;
• Also eliminated was a reject action problem that could occur if Postfix 2.6.6 or earlier was being used;
• All message header parameters are now processed correctly;
• The option to rename attached files is now available.

Changes made to drweb-cgp-plugin:

• Messages without CGP headers can now be processed;
• Emails are now loaded in blocks to optimise memory usage;
• The option to change the rspamd request timeout can make mail processing faster;
• Asynchronous interaction with the rspamd module has been introduced;
• The option to connect to maild via Unix socket is now available;
• The -help command can now be used to view the plugin version.
