Doctor Web presents its September 2018 overview of malware for mobile devices. In the last month, Doctor Web security researchers detected numerous Trojans capable of loading any websites on cybercriminals’ command. Moreover, a Trojan that subscribed users to chargeable mobiles services was detected again on Google Play. Also in September, cybercriminals distributed Android bankers and a dangerous Trojan designed for cyber spying. New versions of commercial spyware programs were among malicious programs for Android smartphones and tablets detected in the past month.
