New Trojans for Android on Google Play and other mobile security events of June 2016

Doctor Web presents its June 2016 overview of malware for mobile devices. In the past month, Doctor Web security researchers detected several malicious applications on Google Play store. One of them was designed to load suspicious websites in order to get users’ mobile phone number and subscribe them to chargeable services; and the other—to steal login credentials for VK user profiles.
