An increase in malware activity and other events of February 2022

Doctor Web presents its February 2022 virus activity review. The total number of unique detected threats decreased compared to January. According to statistics, adware and unwanted programs continue to be popular threats. Fishing websites and backdoors were most often distributed in email traffic. User requests to decrypt files affected by encoders decreased by almost 10.72% compared to January. Read more about these and other events in our February virus review.
