The Dr.Web ScanEngine’s demo key verification error under 64-bit operating systems has been fixed.

The updated scanner features the improved anti-rootkit module providing a better efficiency at neutralizing complex malware. Errors that might lead to a system crash during scanning of blocked files or upon curing certain types of viruses have been fixed. Abnormal termination of the scanner upon its launch has also been corrected.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically by Dr.Web anti-virus solutions.
