December 30, 2009

Doctor Web launches beta-testing of the new version of its Dr.Web anti-virus for Linux. The solution equipped with a control centre provides users with several new features. The new version of the anti-virus supports both 32- and 64-bit versions of Linux (kernel 2.6*).

The anti-virus includes a new background scan component Dr.Web Unix SpIDer Guard that allows performing anti-virus check in a real time without a significant increase of the system load.
