Dr.Web GUI Scanner updated

Doctor Web released another update of its Dr.Web anti-virus scanner included in such products as Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web anti-virus 5.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Suite, Dr.Web for Windows Servers and in Dr.Web AV-Desk service software supplied to customers by service providers.

The update includes:

  • Improved anti-rootkit;
  • Improved boot sectors scan algorithm;
  • An error that caused a system crash upon launching of a full scan under Windows Vista SP1/SP2 and Windows 7 has been fixed.

Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web anti-virus 5.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Suite, Dr.Web for Windows servers and the Dr.Web anti-virus service software will automatically retrieve the update upon a subsequent updating session. This update is not available for distributions for Win9x.
