Dr.Web Control Service and Dr.Web SelfPROtect in Dr.Web 9.0 for Windows updated

December 10, 2013

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Control Service (9.0.4.12060) and Dr.Web SelfPROtect (9.0.5.12060) in the products Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 9.0. The update delivers fixes of the following defects:

A control service issue involving the option ‘Control access to the following objects’ becoming disabled after system restart.

An issue with the self-protection module under 64-bit versions of Windows that could lead to the abnormal termination of a program whose executable has been compressed with the Themida protector. A compatibility issue between Dr.Web SelfPROtect and CryptoPro software which was discovered after a previous update of the component.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
