Components in Dr.Web 8.0 products for Windows updated

July 17, 2013

Doctor Web has updated the agent ( in Dr.Web Security Space, Dr.Web Anti-virus 8.0 for Windows and Dr.Web 8.0 for Windows file servers. In addition, changes have been introduced to the update module ( and the language modules.

An issue involving the abnormal termination of the agent when changing the interface language has been resolved. Also corrected was a defect that prevented files from being added along with folders to SpIDer Guard exceptions.

Some routines have been modified for Dr.Web Updater.

The language module update delivers minor localization fixes and the UI text for the new routine for registering two serial numbers obtained with boxed Dr.Web products.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
