The product incorporates heuristic routines for detecting programs belonging to the Trojan.Encoder and Trojan.Inject malware families. Corresponding options are available in the Preventive Protection section.
You can now use the Parental Control to enable secure searches in Google, Yandex, Yahoo!, Bing and Rambler, and import and export the whitelist of removable media used by the component. In addition, to improve performance, changes have been made to the Dr.Web Cloud service which allows you to check URLs on Doctor Web's servers.
Tweaks in the configuration UI have been introduced to improve the program's usability.
Doctor Web welcomes all users wanting to participate in the beta testing of Dr.Web Security Space 9.0. In keeping with tradition, those testers whose advice and comments prove to be most valuable to the product’s developers will receive gifts from Doctor Web.
