Dr.Web anti-viruses for Unix updated

Doctor Web has updated its Dr.Web for Linux, Dr.Web for Unix file servers, Dr.Web for Novell Storage Services, Dr.Web for Internet gateways Unix to the version 6.0.2.1.

Now the anti-viruses feature the updated Virus-Finding Engine and virus databases 7.0. and up-to-date documentation. The update module has also undergone some changes, in particular, server unavailable messages are now displayed as warnings. Dr.Web for Linux desktops now supports Japanese.

Issues related to operation of the anti-virus scanner when launched via the Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite Control center have been resolved and routines for interaction between the virus database update module and a centralized updating server have been improved. A license key detection issue of Dr.Web for Novell Storage Services which might render the anti-virus non-operational has been resolved.. Improvements increasing reliability and stability have been introduced for all the applications.

To apply the update, users need to download updated distributions of a corresponding product and install them.
