Dr.Web SpIDer Guard September 13 and 19 update rolled back

September 26, 2011

Doctor Web announced that updates for Dr.Web SpIDer Guard G3 have been rolled back. The update for personal Dr.Web products was released on September 13, it was made available and for the anti-virus service and corporate Dr.Web software on September 19.

In some cases installing the update for Dr.Web SpIDer Guard G3 caused system freezing, so Doctor Web decided on rolling back the component update until the issue was resolved.

The update is rolled back automatically but a system reboot is necessary.
