Dr.Web Link Checker for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox updated to version 3.9.19

May 26, 2020

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web Link Checker browser plugin for Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome to version 3.9.19. The update delivers feature upgrades and fixes of known defects.

Changes made to Dr.Web Link Checker:

  • Issues preventing users from blocking and hiding page elements manually have been resolved;
  • A defect that made the Dr.Web Link Checker controls inaccessible in the plugin settings after previously closed tabs had been reopened has been eliminated;
  • Also resolved was an issue preventing the page update prompt from being displayed after the plugin was disabled;
  • Scan requests are now sent via HTTPS, and the plugin no longer requires access to permissions it doesn't use.

To use the latest Dr.Web Link Checker, download it from the extensions catalogue that corresponds to your browser (Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox). If you already use Dr.Web Link Checker, it will be updated automatically.
