Adware growth, a trojan that uses zero-day vulnerabilities and other threats in our March 2019 review

April 3, 2019

Doctor Web presents its March 2019 virus activity review. The adware activity and unwanted programs continues to outperform other malicious software. Our researchers have discovered a trojan that exploited the vulnerabilities of the official Counter-Strike 1.6 game client. The number of requests to the technical support service to decrypt files has also increased; while fewer addresses were added to the base of non-recommended and dangerous sites. For more information about these and other events, have a look at our review.
