Dr.Web anti-virus for Linux updated

October 6, 2010

Doctor Web announced the release of the updated Dr.Web for Linux that incorporates important changes and new features.

The main innovation provided with the update is customizable proxy-server settings for the updating module allowing retrieval of updates even if Dr.Web is unable to access an updating server directly.

The updated version also enables users to add objects for scanning using drag’n’drop. The update also incorporates fixes of several errors found in software components. Users of Dr.Web for Linux need to install the program using the updated distribution.
