Components updated in Dr.Web 12.0 products for Windows

29 November 2018

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Firewall for Windows (12.0.0.11070) and the Dr.Web Shell Extension module (12.0.2.11140) in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0 and Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0. The update resolves known issues and delivers minor tweaks to the UI text.

Changes made to the Firewall:

  • An issue preventing the Xbox App from connecting to the server if the firewall was present in the system has been resolved.

Changes made to the Dr.Web Shell Extension:

  • Minor adjustments have been made to the Dr.Web icon in the Windows pop-up menu.
  • The Dr.Web menu item text for the pop-up menu has been changed for all supported languages.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
