Components updated in Dr.Web 12.0 products for Windows

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web File System Monitor (12.00.01.11060) and Dr.Web Firewall for Windows driver (12.00.02.10290) in Dr.Web Security Space 12.0 and Dr.Web Anti-virus 12.0. The update resolves known software issues.

Specifically, it improves compatibility between Dr.Web File System Monitor and Windows Defender to prevent Windows 10 from freezing at startup.

Also resolved was a Dr.Web Firewall for Windows driver issue whereby the Dr.Web Net filtering Service wouldn't scan traffic under Windows Vista if the firewall wasn't present among the installed Dr.Web components.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
