July 18, 2017

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Updater (11.0.26.07040), SpIDer Agent for Windows (11.0.16.07121), Dr.Web Security Space, and Anti-virus for Windows setup (11.0.16.07070), as well as Lua-script for dwprot (11.0.6.07070) and Lua-script for av-service (11.0.6.07070), in a number of Dr.Web products. The update resolves known issues and delivers upgrades.

Specifically, the updating module routines for interacting with Dr.Web’s servers have been optimised.

An issue causing the agent to terminate abnormally at startup on computers running Windows Server 2008 SP2 has been resolved. Also eliminated was a problem in Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0 and 10.1 that caused the agent to terminate abnormally when it was switched to the administrator mode.

A Lua-script for av-service defect preventing a PC security product from updating in a system in which an ES-agent had previously been installed has been corrected.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
