Components updated in Dr.Web 11.0 for Windows, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0, Dr.Web CureNet!, Dr.Web KATANA 1.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0

April 17, 2017

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web SelfPROtect module (11.01.09.04140) and Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK (11.0.1.09294) in a number of Dr.Web products. The update resolves known software issues.

Specifically, it addresses issues with the self-protection module in all the above-listed products. These issues caused memory leaks during regular system scanning, potentially resulting in operating system freezes.

Also resolved is a Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK defect in Dr.Web Security Space 11.0, Dr.Web Anti-virus 11.0, Dr.Web KATANA 1.0 and Dr.Web AV-Desk 10.0 that could result in the anti-virus detecting false positives.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
