Ransomware Trojan written in Go, new backdoor for Linux, and other events in October 2016

Doctor Web presents its October 2016 overview of malware for mobile devices. At the beginning of the month, Doctor Web’s specialists discovered a ransomware Trojan written in Go. In mid-October, they found a new backdoor for Linux. In addition, throughout the month, cybercriminals continued distributing malware for Android devices.
