New spyware for Windows, backdoor that transforms computer into proxy server, and other virus events of May 2016

Doctor Web presents its May 2016 virus activity review. The last spring month was marked by the emergence of a new spyware able to monitor user activity and to steal the user’s private information from the computer. Besides, our specialists examined a Trojan designed to transform a computer into a proxy server. They also registered a spike in number of mobile devices infected with banking Trojans.
