Trojans in Google Play, new downloader Trojan, and other mobile security events of April 2016

Doctor Web presents its April 2016 overview of malware for mobile devices. In the past month, Doctor Web specialists detected more than 190 Google Play applications containing a Trojan that threatened users into installing software. Also this month, a new Trojan that downloads and installs software without user consent was discovered. Besides, our security researchers registered a big number of aggressive advertising modules embedded into Android applications.
