New adware for OS X, Trojan preinstalled on Android firmware of popular mobile devices, and other events of March 2016

Doctor Web presents its March 2016 virus activity review. The first spring month saw the emergence of new adware Trojans for Mac computers together with a dangerous malicious program for Android that was incorporated into some popular apps and into firmware of several Android devices. In addition, Doctor Web specialists developed a new technique to decrypt files compromised by the one known ransomware for OS X.
