Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine updated

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated its Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine (7.00.18.03140) in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus v. 6-11, Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite, Dr.Web Server Security Suite, Dr.Web Mail Security Suite, Dr.Web Gateway Security Suite, the Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service, the Dr.Web CureIt! and Dr.Web CureNet! utilities, and Dr.Web LiveDisk—the system emergency repair software. The update resolves known software issues.

Issues involving the processing of RAR, CAB, DMG, Inno Setup, ACE, UPX/Mac and Orien files have been resolved. Defects affecting JS-HTML, MS Office and FLY-CODE heuristic analysis routines have been corrected.

Overall, the update has improved the quality of malware detection.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
