February 29, 2016
Doctor Web presents its February 2016 virus activity review. The last winter month was marked by the emergence of a malicious program that performed injections into Android system processes. In addition, Doctor Web security researchers discovered a Trojan for Windows that deleted itself from computers at detecting Russian, Ukrainian, Belorussian, or Kazakh keyboard layouts. Also, a new banking Trojan designed to steal money from users’ bank accounts with the help of a special proxy server was registered.
