Spread of ransomware for Linux, spyware Trojans activity and other events of November 2015

Doctor Web presents its November 2015 virus activity review. This month will be remembered due to the information on the spread of a hazardous encryption ransomware targeting Linux operating systems.

The Linux.Encoder.1 distributors targeted owners of websites created on WordPress, Magento, and other content management systems. About 3,000 websites were infected by this ransomware. Also security researches detected a whole pack of malicious programs for getting the remote access to Windows computers.
