Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API updated in Dr.Web 10.0 for Windows
November 16, 2015
Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (10.0.13.201511140) in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 10.0, Dr.Web 10.0 for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite supporting centralised administration (part of Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0), Dr.Web 10.0 for MS Exchange, in the Internet service Dr.Web AV-Desk and in the utility Dr.Web CureIt! 10.0. The update delivers a fix of an identified defect.
Adjustments made to the Anti-rootkit API help prevent a system critical error under Windows 10 (x86) that occurred as a result of this OS’s recent large update to build version 10586.
The Dr.Web Anti-virus service software and the other Dr.Web applications listed above will be updated automatically, but a system reboot will be required.
