New Trojan for iOS, malicious program on Google Play, and other mobile security events of October 2015
October 30, 2015
Doctor Web presents its October 2015 overview of malware for mobile devices. The previous month showed once again that cybercriminals do not intend to lose their interest in mobile devices. In particular, at the beginning of October, yet another Trojan for iOS came into light. Some time later, a new malicious program was detected on Google Play. At the end of the month, Doctor Web security researchers registered a new case of Android firmware being infected with a malicious application and, after that, detected a new banking Trojan designed to steal money from owners of smartphones and tablets.
