Components updated in Dr.Web 10.0 for Windows, Dr.Web 10.0 for MS Exchange, and Dr.Web 10.0 for IBM Lotus Domino
August 3, 2015
Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web SelfPROtect (10.00.10.07310) component and the Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (10.0.9.201507310) component in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 10.0, Dr.Web 10.0 for Windows Servers, and Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite supporting centralised administration (part of Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite). The components have also been updated for the Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service. The anti-rootkit API has also been updated in Dr.Web 10.0 for MS Exchange, and Dr.Web 10.0 for IBM Lotus Domino. The update delivers fixes of the below defects.
The company has made adjustments to the self-protection module in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus, Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite supporting centralised administration, and in Dr.Web AV-Desk for Dr.Web Anti-virus service subscribers to ensure that the module operates properly on machines running Windows 10: an issue involving Internet Explorer launching when Dr.Web is installed in the system has been resolved as has a problem that prevented the system information window from opening.
The Dr.Web Anti-virus service software, as well as the other Dr.Web applications listed above, will be updated automatically, but a system reboot will be required.
