Components updated in Dr.Web 10.0 products for Windows, Dr.Web 10.0 for MS Exchange, and Dr.Web 10.0 for IBM Lotus Domino

Doctor Web has updated SpIDer Agent for Windows (10.0.10.201507010) and the modules Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (10.0.8.201507100) Dr.Web SelfPROtect (10.00.09.06230) in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 10.0, Dr.Web 10.0 for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite supporting centralised administration (part of Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite) and in the Internet-service Dr.Web AV-Desk. Also, the anti-rootkit module has been updated in Dr.Web 10.0 for MS Exchange and in Dr.Web 10.0 for IBM Lotus Domino, while Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite also has Dr.Web Enterprise Agent for Windows setup (10.0.10.07070) updated.

Dr.Web Enterprise Agent for Windows setup

  • An issue involving the process dwnetfilter.exe being added onto the Windows Firewall exception list during Dr.Web Agent installation has been fixed.
  • An error that might arise if Dr.Web Agent was upgraded automatically from version 6.0 to version 10.0 has been corrected.

  • Some anti-rootkit module routines have been upgraded.

To resolve the agent updating issue on Windows machines with installed ES-server software, Dr.Web Control Service has been rolled back to the older version (10.0.9.06090) for all the products except Dr.Web 10.0 for MS Exchange and Dr.Web 10.0 for IBM Lotus Domino.

The Dr.Web Anti-virus service software, as well as the other Dr.Web applications listed above, will be updated automatically, but a system reboot will be required.
