Components updated in Dr.Web 10.0 for Windows, Dr.Web 10.0 for MS Exchange, and Dr.Web 10.0 for IBM Lotus Domino

Doctor Web has updated the SpIDer Agent for Windows component (10.0.9.201506050), Dr.Web Control Service (10.0.9.06042), Dr.Web SysInfo (10.0.4.201505180), Dr.Web Scanning Engine (10.0.7.201506010), Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (10.0.7.201505250), Dr.Web Net filtering Service (10.0.6.05281), the Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK component (10.0.0.201505130), Dr.Web DeviceGuard (10.00.04.04300), Dr.Web for Microsoft Outlook (10.0.3.201504130), and the configuration scripts (10.0.1.05210, 10.0.1.05190, and 10.0.1.04210) in the following products: Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 10.0, Dr.Web 10.0 for Windows Servers, Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite supporting centralised administration (part of Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0), Dr.Web 10.0 for MS Exchange and Dr.Web 10.0 for IBM Lotus Domino. The updates also apply to the Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service.

SpIDer Agent for Windows

  • An issue involving the “Critical” and “Important” groups being displayed incorrectly in the notification settings has been resolved.
  • The update corrects a defect that resulted in the end value of the IPv6 address not being saved when a range of addresses was specified in the firewall’s packet rules.

Dr.Web Control Service

  • Alterations have been made so that proxy settings now operate correctly when license key files are being automatically renewed during product updates.
  • An error that occurred when saving a license key that had been automatically renewed has been fixed.
  • Also resolved was a high CPU load issue that could occur after the Scanning Engine was restarted.

Dr.Web Scanning Engine

  • A Scanning Engine file descriptor leak has been eliminated.
  • Background scanning speed has been increased.

Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API

  • Upgrades made to the routines used to process objects and gather information about them have contributed to an increase in scanning speed.

Dr.Web Net filtering Service

  • Changes made to the Remote Winsock routine have helped to resolve ISA/TMG server connection issues.

Dr.Web Thunderstorm Cloud Client SDK

  • The update also delivers support for the new version of Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API and Dr.Web Scanning Engine.

  • Fixes were made so that the Dr.Web Control Service now operates correctly with paths containing Cyrillic characters when the agents are transmitting scanning results to the Control Center.
  • Also resolved was a high CPU load issue that could occur after the Scanning Engine was restarted.

  • Fixes were made so that the Dr.Web Control Service now operates correctly with paths containing Cyrillic characters when the agents send scanning results to the Control Center.
  • Also resolved was a high CPU load issue that could occur after the Scanning Engine was restarted.
  • A problem with the composition of the agent components changing when switching to a different subscription package has been corrected.
  • System information gathered on desktops running Windows XP is now being forwarded correctly.
  • An issue that prevented the Dr.Web Agent from reconnecting to the Control Center if the server address on a protected machine had been changed has been resolved.

  • The list of system information gathered on protected machines has been expanded.

Dr.Web Scanning Engine

  • A Scanning Engine file descriptor leak has been eliminated.
  • Background scanning speed has been increased.
  • A defect causing errors while Windows was shutting down has been corrected.
  • The routine for processing archives in network directories has been optimised.
  • The update also improves threat detection during background scans.

  • Upgrades made to the routines used to process objects and gather information about them has contributed to an increase in scanning speed.
  • Threat detection routines have been upgraded.
