June 8, 2015

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine (7.00.13.05270) in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web anti-virus 6-10, Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite, Dr.Web Server Security Suite, Dr.Web Mail Security Suite, Dr.Web Gateway Security Suite, in the Internet-service Dr.Web AV-Desk, curing utilities Dr.Web CureIt! and Dr.Web CureNet! as well as in the system recovery tool Dr.Web LiveDisk. The update delivers new features and resolves known issues.

Issues involving routines for extracting and parsing .NET, EncodedScript, DGCA, TNEF, 7zip, Mach-O, HA and docx files have been resolved. The defect causing false positives during heuristic analysis of PDF and MS Office files has been corrected.

Furthermore, Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine can now scan archives and containers in multi-thread mode and parse AutoHotkey scripts.

In addition, the engine's detection capabilities have been enhanced.

The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
