Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web announces the release of the ninth version of its Dr.Web for MS Exchange which is designed to check MS Exchange Server traffic for viruses and spam and neutralise all types of malware found in emails processed by the mail server.

The upgraded Dr.Web for Microsoft Exchange Server has had a VSAPI issue resolved. It caused the Microsoft Exchange Information Store for Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007/2010 to terminate abnormally. The new version of the product also boasts the improved stability of Dr.Web for Microsoft Exchange Server components (Dr.Web for MSP Component Host, Dr.Web for MSP Requests Queue, Dr.Web for MSP Scanning Service and the libraries DrWebVSAPI.dll, DRWADAccessor.dll and DRWProfileResolver.dll). Now the anti-virus skips archived files that can't be scanned instead of moving them to the quarantine.

More information about the upgrade process, as well as the system requirements for Dr.Web for MS Exchange 10.0, can be found in the release notes.
