Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated the Dr.Web Virus-Finding Engine (7.00.12.03050) in the products Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 6-10, Dr.Web Desktop Security Suite, Dr.Web Server Security Suite, Dr.Web Mail Security Suite, Dr.Web Gateway Security Suite, the Dr.Web AV-Desk Internet service, Dr.Web CureIt!, and Dr.Web CureNet!, as well as in the Dr.Web LiveDisk system recovery tool. The update delivers new features and resolves known issues.
An issue involving the decompression of RTF, AutoIt, DGCA and UPX files has been corrected. The update brings a new routine for detecting Android malware. Unicode support has been added for the unpacker EncodedScript. In addition, the ELF parser has been redesigned and a parser for Mach-O files has been added.
The update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
