Anti-rootkit module in Dr.Web 9.1 and 10.0 for Windows, Dr.Web CureIt! 9.0 and Dr.Web CureNet! 10:0 updated
December 17, 2014
Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Anti-rootkit API (9.1.7.201412150) in versions 9.1 and 10.0 of its Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web anti-virus, in Dr.Web for MS Exchange 9.1, Dr.Web Enterprise Security Suite 10.0, and in the curing utilities Dr.Web CureIt! 9.0 and Dr.Web CureNet! 10.0. The update delivers a fix of an identified defect.
In particular, it resolves the issue that might cause a system crash on start-up once the update KB3013769 for Windows 8.1 (32-bit) has been installed.
The update for Dr.Web 9.1 and 10.0 will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
