Updating of Dr.Web for Windows Mobile

December 28, 2009

Doctor Web releases the updated beta version of its new anti-virus product Dr.Web for Windows Mobile 5.0. The anti-virus includes a range of new features and has a number of errors fixed.

The main innovation implemented in the solution for protection of pocket PCs and communicators running Windows Mobile is its support of RAR and SIS91 archives. Scanning of archives of other formats has also been improved: an error that prevented disabling the Scan Zip option while Scan CAB was enabled has been fixed.

An error that occurred when a license key file was downloaded over a GPRS Internet connection as well as an issue related to extracting a key file on a device without installed SIM-card have been corrected.

Now you can also change font size in the Settings dialogues.

In order to apply the changes a user needs to start manual updating of Dr.Web for Windows Mobile.
