Components in Dr.Web 10.0 for Windows updated

November 13, 2014

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web has updated Dr.Web Control Service (10.0.1.11060), Dr.Web Net Filtering Service (10.0.1.11060), the module Dr.Web SelfPROtect (10.00.02.11050), the component Dr.Web Device Guard (10.00.01.10290), Dr.Web Updater (10.0.1.11100), the installer (10.0.1.10300) and configuration scripts (10.0.0.11070, 10.0.0.10300) in Dr.Web Security Space and Dr.Web Anti-virus 10.0. The update delivers fixes of the following defects:

A control service issue involving the inability to create new revisions for files protected using the “Data loss prevention” feature;

A net filtering service issue involving a link to the documentation being displayed on the site block screen. This issue has also been resolved for the supported UI languages;

Self-protection module issues involving memory leaks and the component’s abnormal termination when adding the disk root directory to the list of protected folders;

Configuration script issues involving Dr.Web keys remaining in the Windows Registry after Dr.Web Anti-virus and Dr.Web Security Space 10.0 have been removed.

The update will be performed automatically; however, a system reboot will be required.
