Since November 2009 citizens of the Russian city Korolev can sign up for the Dr.Web anti-virus service and protect their computers from viruses and other malware. The anti-virus service has become accessible in the city after a successful deployment of Dr.Web AV-Desk by Web-Korolev company that provides access to the Internet to all residents of Koralev.

The deployment of Dr.Web AV-Desk by Web-Korolev is by no means the first one in the Moscow region where the service is delivered to customers by 20 companies. However, until recently residents of Korolev have not been able to take advantage of software products delivered under the SaS-model implemented by Doctor Web in its Dr.Web AV-Desk.

A subscription to the anti-virus service provides customers of Web-Korolev with everything they need to protect their desktops and laptops from viruses and spam. The subscription procedure is conducted in a user's personal area and allows quick access to the anti-virus software.

Customers can choose between four levels of protection. With the subscription package Dr.Web Classic users get a conventional anti-virus, Dr.Web Standard enhances anti-virus security with an anti-spam module, while Dr.Web Premium also features an HTTP monitor and Parental control to ensure comprehensive protection. Dr.Web Premium Server stands aside from other packages. It is designed to protect machines running Windows Server operating systems.
