November 9, 2009

The Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web released Dr.Web for IBM Lotus Domino 5.0.0 for Linux. The product is designed to protect corporate mail systems and databases of a Domino server from viruses and spam.

The new version of Dr.Web for IBM Lotus Domino features the improved anti-virus engine with unique detection and curing capabilities. In the real time or on schedule the Dr.Web anti-virus will promptly scan e-mails, eliminate the infection aftermath and isolate infected or suspicious files in the quarantine.

Dr.Web anti-spam for IBM Lotus Domino will allow users to define actions for three categories of spam: reject messages, move messages to a separate database or deliver messages with a spam prefix added to the subject.

Dr.Web for IBM Lotus Domino already has the Ready for IBM Lotus software mark and is included in the IBM Lotus Business Solutions Catalog.
