Dr.Web CureIt! can now be updated and available free of charge for non-commercial use only

October 12, 2009

With the renewed design of its web-site the Russian anti-virus vendor Doctor Web starts providing Dr.Web CureIt! on a commercial basis unless it is used to cure a home PC of the user.

More than hundred thousand users make use of Dr.Web CureIt! on daily basis. Being a free curing tool for personal computers it has become widely popular.

The good news is that Dr.Web CureIt! remains free! But the option is available if you use the utility on your personal computer only. If you need to scan a computer at your desk or provide computer repair and system restore services using Dr.Web CureIt!, you will need to purchase a license.

More and more companies resort to the utility to cure their office desktops and servers when their installed anti-virus software fails and can't neutralize malicious objects.

From now on Dr.Web CureIt! is provided on commercial bases unless the user runs the utility on his home PC ( Note that Dr.Web software is an object of copyright. Running Dr.Web CureIt! at home doesn’t bring your profit. However, free usage of the software on office machines with other anti-virus products installed is no longer available.

Dr.Web CureIt! Is NOT a free addition to anti-virus products from other vendors.

We hope you will agree that high-quality curing is worth its price.
