New Doctor Web email subscription rules

September 26, 2014

Russian anti-virus company Doctor Web does its best to keep Dr.Web users, the company’s partners, and everyone interested in protecting their information assets up to date on the latest developments in IT security and at Doctor Web. To simplify this task, we have redesigned our mailing lists.

Now, an account is needed at www.drweb.com to subscribe to Doctor Web news mailing lists.

The following Doctor Web news mailing lists are available:

  • Weekly digests provide summaries of news posts from Doctor Web on all topics (one digest per week, four to five digests per month).
  • Urgent news gives users a ‘heads-up’ about new Dr.Web anti-virus releases, virus outbreaks and the most pressing threats.
  • Service messages (for example, concerning an expiring license or attempts to use a license illegally) will now only be available once a user signs up to receive them.

A special notice for current subscribers to Doctor Web's news mailing lists at news.drweb.com/news/subscribe!

One month after the publication of this announcement, your subscription will be cancelled. If you wish to stay on the mailing list, re-subscribe under your account in the Information section of our website. If you don't yet have an account, you need to register.

Subscribe to our mailing list and you'll never miss important news from Doctor Web.
