Dr.Web for Internet gateways Kerio is an application that connects to Kerio Control and scans files, transferred via HTTP, FTP, SMTP and POP3, for viruses. If a threat is detected, Kerio Control settings dictate what action is to be taken to neutralise it.
The plugin provides anti-virus scanning of files downloaded via mail or the Internet and identifies various kinds of malware (ranging from viruses to joke programs). Infected files are moved to the Dr.Web Quarantine. The heuristic analyser provides extra protection against unknown threats. The product boasts a high scan speed and easy installation.
More information about the Linux version of Dr.Web for Internet gateways Kerio and its system requirements, as well as installation instructions, can be found in the release notes.
